In the beginning...

I was born in Flagstaff, AZ, raised in Sedona, and currently live in beautiful Scottsdale, AZ.

After high school I decided against college and instead signed up for a 5 year hitch with the Navy. After photography and videography training at Defense Information School in Maryland, I worked in broadcast television at the Naval Media Center in Washington, D.C. I spent my last 18 months aboard the USS Bonhomme Richard in San Diego, CA. I managed to make one deployment overseas during the invasion of Iraq in early 2003.

Following my discharge and a brief stint doing freelance photography and video, I found myself becoming increasingly interested in the web. I again opted out of a formal education and went the self-taught route. I freelanced for several years before taking a full-time position with AIR Marketing in Phoenix. I continue to work there today, focusing primarily on front-end, SEO and copywriting.
